A Traditional Christmas Concert – Grace Church Musicians

On Sunday, December 15th at 4:oo p.m., Grace Church’s musicians, led by Minister of Music Chris Schroeder, will present Advent and Christmas selections from several countries and in a variety of styles. Our own Chancel, Youth, Bell and Children’s Choirs, along with organ, flute, and trumpet, will prepare the way for Christmas for you in a most beautiful way. The audience will join in the beloved carols of the season, with cookies and cocoa at the parsonage to follow. We welcome all!

Handel Choir of Baltimore Sings Messiah

Handel Choir of Baltimore is a critically acclaimed choral ensemble that presents yearly performances of Handel’s Messiah with the Handel Period Instrument Orchestra, as well as other major choral and choral-orchestral works. We welcome them back to Grace Church on Saturday, December 15, 7:30 p.m. They are conducted by Brian Bartoldus, Artistic Director.

While the Choir remains committed to performing in a variety of earlier styles and genres, the organization performs 19th to 21st century music as well. Repertoire has included music of Fauré, Bernstein, Poulenc, Lauridsen, Duruflé and Berlioz. Handel Choir commissioned Requiem for the Fallen by Jonathan Leshnoff and The Song of the Shulamite by Donald McCullough.
