Volunteer Opportunities

Manna Bags“Remembering the words of the Lord Jesus Christ, for he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’” (Acts 20:35).

Here you will find listings of current opportunities to volunteer through the ministries of Grace. You are invited to sign up below or to contact the leader directly to learn more. If you don’t see anything that fits your passions, contact Pastor Dane Wood and he will be pleased to help you find your best way to serve at Grace.

Reading Partners

Reading Partners places community volunteers in low-income schools to help kids master basic reading. Grace members volunteer each week at an area school. You can learn more about Reading Partners at www.readingpartners.org. If you’d like to volunteer with the Grace team, contact Pastor Dane Wood.

Manna Bags

Every Sunday, Manna Bags are available for church members to take with them and distribute to someone in need as they go about their daily routine. A Manna Bag is a simple, brown paper bag filled with several food items and a bottle of water. Grace assembles Manna Bags as needed throughout the year. If you would like to help with this project, contact Pastor Dane Wood.

Christmas Angel Tree

Each year, Grace provides gifts for Baltimore City children who have an incarcerated parent. A list of needed gifts is posted in early Advent and gifts are typically delivered during the third week of December. If you would like to help with this project, contact Pastor Dane Wood.
