Jesus said, “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) The ministries of care and prayer at Grace aim to offer Christian love, support, and prayer to our community and beyond.
Prayer Chain – When we pray we open ourselves to God’s sustaining grace and we offer petitions for others who are in need. Members of the prayer chain pray daily for those who request prayer. If you would like to add a prayer concern to the prayer chain, please contact the church office. If you would like to become a member of the prayer chain team, please contact Rev. Levon Sutton.
The Grace Cares Team visits members of the community who are homebound as well as writing regular notes to those not able to physically worship with us.
The Knitting Group creates prayer shawls to be distributed to those recovering from illness or other needs.
