Small Groups

Book Club – The Book Club meets on the evening of the second Monday of each month. Those who love to read are cordially invited. For more information, contact Maureen Danz at maur.danz@verizon.net.

Christ in My Life –  These small groups are designed for people who are seeking a regular place for reflecting on God’s work, without the demands of outside reading.  Group gatherings are organized around two simple questions: where do I sense Christ working in my life and where am I struggling to discern Christ? The groups meet weekly for one hour on Tuesday evenings or on Wednesday afternoons. For more information, contact Rev. McSavaney at james@graceunitedmethodist.org.

Knitting Group – The Knitting group meets monthly on Sunday evenings to craft prayer shawls and related projects for the church and community. For more information, please contact Debbie English at debenglish99@gmail.com.

Moms and Dads – The group for Moms, Dads, Moms and Moms, Dads and Dads, and Moms and Dads and their children meets regularly for Halloween, Christmas, Super Bowl, and camping events. Find family-friendly fun, as well as a sense of community, with this group that is always growing. Contact Sue Williams for more information at benwillies@hotmail.com.

United Methodist Women – Meet on second Wednesdays, six months of the year, for a program at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch. For more information, contact Ruth Beachler at the Church Office on Wednesdays.

For more information on any of these groups, or groups in development, please contact Rev. McSavaney at james@graceunitedmethodist.org or 410-433-6650.
