Christian Formation for Children at Grace

NOTE: Our Sunday School begins September 11, 2011.

Cribbery Class and Preschool Class for 2-3 year olds

We provide childcare during the 10 a.m. Worship Service for infants in our Cribbery and appropriate activity and care for those toddlers age 2 to 3 years old.

Beginning this fall

All children ages 4 through grade 6 will attend worship with their parents for the first 15 minutes of the 10 a.m. service. They will then be dismissed following the Children’s Time to their classes.

Preschool class

Our preschool-age students meet in a traditional classroom setting during the 10 a.m. Worship Service. They learn stories and about characters in the Bible. Children are given the opportunity to handle the Bible and see others read from it, hear and learn prayers, and learn of God’s love and helping others.

Children rotate to a different workshop each Sunday during a 4-5 week unit, culminating in a Celebration service in the church with the congregation.
