Reverend Dr. Amy McCullough, Lead Pastor

DSC_0267Rev. Dr. Amy P. McCullough has been a member of the Baltimore-Washington Conference since 1999. A native of Florida, she received a BA from Wellesley College and a M. Div. from Duke Divinity School. She received her PhD in Homiletics and Liturgics at Vanderbilt University in May, 2012. Rev. McCullough has served a variety of congregations in the Baltimore-Washington area, including as the Associate Minister of Congregational Ministries at Metropolitan Memorial in Washington, DC and the pastor of Glenelg United Methodist in western Howard County. Rev. McCullough is an adjunct professor at Wesley Theology Seminary, teaching worship and preaching practicums. She is married to Chris McCullough. They have two children, Luke and Suzanna.

Reverend James McSavaney, Associate Pastor

Rev. James McSavaney serves as the associate pastor. This is his first appointment as a commissioned elder in the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church. He earned a BA from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a M. Div. from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Prior to his appointment, James acted as the interim director of Christian education for Calvary UMC in Annapolis. He worked with children and youth and coordinated church-wide seasonal events of service and fellowship. His spouse, Amy Royce, is a Commissioner’s Special Assistant in the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights in Washington, DC. Amy and James met in an intentional community in Philadelphia, learning about the local church’s role in community development and renewal. They’re the proud parents of a wonderful baby boy, Walker. They all live in the Hampden neighborhood of the city and enjoy exploring Baltimore’s parks, art galleries, and festivals.

Trisha Wetzelberger, Director of Children & Youth

Trisha Wetzelberger serves as the Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries. She served as the Children and Family Ministry Director for eight years at St. John’s Lutheran Church where she also had experience with working as the interim Youth Director. She earned a BA in Elementary Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University and both a MA and Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Portland Oregon. Trisha is married to Tom and together with their three adult children, Ryan, Alex, and Samantha, they enjoy Ravens football, supporting the Tottenham Hotspur, steamed crabs, Disney, and traveling.
